Sister Act!!
A couple of nights ago me and hubby visited my sister and niece for a 'quick cup of tea and a Digestive'. That was the original plan anyway.............................
.........................over 100 photos later (and much hilarity), we finally headed home as dusk had gently laid it's mantle over the hills and sea.
I'd like to share some of my photos with you, all taken on that glorious evening in Scalloway, while spending a few very happy hours with my sister. Enjoy the photos!!
And just for your information, I had forgotten to take my tripod with me, so I used my sister!! So if you think the photos are not as sharp as they should be, please forgive me, but we were both laughing so much we could barely stand still!!

Late Evening View from Sundibanks

The Sea and All It's Textures
Hi again!
There are several visiting yachts, catamarans etc in our town harbour at the moment, so I took the camera down there the other day and got some photos.
Having spent my first few years of life on a tiny island where the nearest shop was a boat trip away, the sea still holds a fascination for me and I love taking photos of it's many elements.
Here are a few pics I like. Hope something appeals to you too!!

Beautiful Shetland
After 3 days at home while waiting for a new exhaust for the car, I finally got out!!! Tonight me and hubby went for a short drive to another pretty village and I took some photos.
Shetland is a very inspirational place. Everywhere you turn there is something good to see!! And it's amazingly quiet.
Here are a few of the photos I took this evening. I'll be adding some more over the next few days, but this will be a little taster for you. If you'd like any information about Shetland or want to comment on the photos, please leave a comment or get in touch via the email link in the side bar.
